Liga Primos continues to gain recognition across Southern Maryland, with Grounded FC and the league recently featured in The BayNet following Grounded FC's undefeated Division B championship run and promotion to Division A.
The September 1 feature highlights Grounded FC's rise from Division B champions to the league's top division while also shining a spotlight on the continued growth of Liga Primos. The article notes that the league has expanded from roughly four or five teams to 16 teams and highlights its promotion-and-relegation system.
For Liga Primos, the feature represents another positive step in the league's growth. What happens every Thursday is becoming more than competition between teams—it is helping build a stronger soccer community and providing another platform for local talent to be seen.
Congratulations to Grounded FC on the well-deserved recognition and to everyone—players, coaches, referees, teams, supporters, and sponsors—who continues to help Liga Primos grow.
The competition is getting stronger. The community is growing. And Southern Maryland is taking notice.
